Outside the church, she is a board member for the Central City Comprehensive Community Center (5 C’s), a nonprofit supporting social services in the Third Ward neighborhood.
Mrs. Cosby is actively involved in community affairs. She is a member of Jack and Jill of America and The Links, Inc. She held positions as the Harris County Election Clerk and a member of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services’ Citizen Review Team.
