The management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has officially announced Monday, 23rd of October, 2023 as the latest date for resumption of academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session. This eagerly awaited announcement comes as great news for students, faculty, and staff, marking the end of a long break and the beginning of a new academic year.
All staff, returning students and fresh students are expected to resume on or before the stipulated date as academic activities will kick off immediately on the approved date.
The official memo being released by the school management reads:
“This is to inform all students that the University senate at its 58th statutory meeting held on Wednesday, 11th of October, 2023 approved the resumption of academic activities for the first Semester 2023/2024 academic session with effect from Monday, 23rd October, 2023.”
Accordingly, all students are hereby expected to resume on Monday, 23rd of October, 2023.
The matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 16th and Friday 17th November, 2023. Therefore, all newly admitted students are advised to pay their sundry fees in order to be eligible for registration and matriculation.
