WHAT IS JAMB CUT OFF MARK
JAMB cut off mark simply means the minimum requirements/points a candidate is required to meet before he/she may be offered provisional admission into any institution that the candidate chose during JAMB 2021 registration.

That is, if the candidate fail to meet up with the requirements or points he/she may be denied admission.


IS JAMB CUT OFF MARK 2021/2022 OUT?
Yes! JAMB has released their minimum cut off mark for 2021 This cut off mark was released after the JAMB policy meeting that was held between many stakeholders, including JAMB Registrar, V.Cs of all Nigerian Universities, Rectors and provosts.


WHAT IS JAMB 2021 CUT OFF MARK?
Their are two different cut off marks that was released

The first one is The minimum general JAMB Cut off mark that was announced by the JAMB registrar for all Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education. This is the cut off mark that each institution have to depend on to set their own cut off marks.



The second one is The Cut of mark that was released by different Institution, This is the main one that each institution will use for Admission in 2021.

I will divide this cut off marks into three section; The first one is JAMB cut off mark For universities, JAMB Cut off mark for polytechnics and JAMB Cut off mark for Colleges of Education.

JAMB CUT OFF MARK 2021/2022 FOR UNIVERSITIES
What is the JAMB minimum cut off mark for Universities in 2021?

The minimum Universities cut off mark in 2021 is 160.

Take note; This does not mean that you can apply to study in any university with JAMB score of 160. you have to check for your school cut off mark and department cut off mark for admission in your institution.

JAMB 2021 CUT OFF MARK FOR POLYTECHNICS
The general JAMB Cut of mark for polytechnic in 2021 is 140.

So each polytechnics will have to depend on this 140 to choose their own specific cut off mark which must be at least 120, it is either 120 or higher than 120.

JAMB CUT OFF MARK FOR COLLEGES OF EDUCATION 2021
The minimum general cut off mark for all colleges of education is 100.

Answer; No! Because UNIBEN cut off mark is 200.

Question; Please sir, I scored 171 in JAMB can ABSU or Rivers state University offer me admission?

Answer; RSU cut off mark is 180, and ABSU cut off mark is 160 that means you have with ABSU.

Question; sir, will JAMB reduce cut off mark because of COVID 19?

Answer; No, JAMB will not reduce cut off mark because of COVID 19.

step 2. divide your post UTME score by 2

Step 3. Finally , Sum the two results.


CONCLUSION
Note that JAMB cut off mark is different from University cut off mark and also department cut of mark.

University cut off mark is just the cut off point for the whole school while the department cut off point is the cut off mark required by different departments.

for example, UNILORIN may choose 200 as their school cut off mark while , department cut off mark for law may be 250, I hope you understand now?
